Mary Craig is the heart of English & Mulley. A highly experienced optometrist with a passion for connecting with patients, delivering accurate, compassionate care, and keeping up with the latest vision science.​​

Mary has been proudly serving the Jersey community since 1986, when she arrived on the island after qualifying as an Ophthalmic Optician - now known as an Optometrist. With a lifelong commitment to delivering the highest standard of vision care, Mary combines technical expertise with a warm, personal approach.

 

She is passionate about helping people achieve their best possible vision and maintain long-term eye health. Supporting others in something as vital as sight is a responsibility she finds deeply rewarding.

 

Mary’s journey hasn’t been limited to optometry. In her first year in Jersey, she earned her Private Pilot License - a testament to her drive and determination. Her greatest passion, however, has always been horses. Raised on her grandparents’ farm and gifted her first pony as a child, Mary’s love for horses has remained central to her life.

 

Today, alongside her optical practice, Mary is a qualified Skyhorse Equine Guided Educator, offering personal development experiences supported by her small herd of horses. Whether in the consulting room or the field, she remains committed to helping people see, and live, more clearly.​​​
